To provide the coordination of quality
personal, health and home services for the growing population
of seniors, enabling them to maintain their independence
and dignity.
The Easy Living concept originated in response
to the ever-changing needs of thousands of seniors in
South Florida. The program is the result of years of planning
and working with anumber of senior communities, senior
focus groups, meetings with community leaders and thousands
of surveys and telephone calls. These participants identified
what needs were not being adequately met and stressed
the need for carefully screened, licensed and insured
providers. In addition, we learned from adult caregivers
that communication and personal contact with both the
caregiver and the client, was extremely important, especially
in a long distance situation.
The
Easy Living Program® was established by Community
Resource Systems, Inc., a Delray Beach, Florida based
management and development company which specializes in
the management of senior adult communities, and Intracoastal
Health Systems, Inc., Palm Beach County's largest not-for-profit
health care provider. Easy Living became more than just
a provider of senior services, but also an advocate on
senior issues and a source of information for both seniors
and their caregivers.
The personnel who developed the Easy Living Program represent
a variety of professional disciplines. The Company's original
staff consisted of experts in the fields of marketing,
health care, hospitality, technology, law, finance and
life care and retirement facility management. By combining
their skills they have created a communication and service
delivery system that is without equal. The current management
staff and their positions are listed below:
J. Frank Surface
Chairman
of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Surface has
founded and directed manufacturing, real estate development,
real estate management, financial and recreational companies,
served as Chairman and Director of publicly held companies,
and was managing partner of one of Florida's largest law
firms. He serves on numerous civic and educational boards.
Mr. Surface performs the services through Community Resource
Systems, Inc.
Michael D. Hyman
Executive
Vice President, Marketing and Affiliate Development. Mr.
Hyman, a prior owner of a property management firm specializing
in homeowner and condominium association management, has
been the President and Chief Operating Officer of Community
Resource Systems. He has served as Mayor of West Palm Beach.
He holds Florida licenses as a certified general contractor,
real estate broker and community association manager. Mr.
Hyman performs his services through Community Resource Systems,
Inc.
Pamela S. Hapke
Director
of Operations. Ms. Hapke has over 20 years of management
experience in training, marketing, customer service and
operations. Ms. Hapke joined the Company from the Sheraton
Hotel where as Assistant GM, her primary responsibilities
included the management of the front office, housekeeping
and maintenance operations. She was awarded the Silver Plume
Award from Where Magazine and the Chicago Concierge Association
while with Hyatt Hotels. She has served as Secretary and
currently serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors
of the Partnership for Aging, Palm Beach County. |
